Jupiter sera toujours mois visible. La planète géante se lèvera à 20h54 UTC le 1er novembre et à 19h26 UTC le 30 novembre. A gauche est reportée l'élongation ( en rayon de Jupiter ) des Satellites Galiléens depuis Jupiter. L'animation de droite montre le mouvement des satellites pour le mois de novembre: Io ( I ), Europe ( II ), Ganymède ( III ) et Callisto ( IV ). Remarquez aussi l'évolution de l'atmosphère de Jupiter.
Saturne, tout comme Jupiter sera toujours moins visible. La planète aux anneaux se couchera à 21:21 UTC le 1er novembre, et à 19:39 UTC le 31 novembre.
A droite est représentée la positions des satellites principaux de Saturne. Mimas ( I ), Encelade ( II ), Téthys ( III ), Dioné ( IV ), Rhéa ( V ), Titan ( VI ), à droite est représentée leur positions au 15 novembre.
M35 est un amas ouvert situé dans la constellation des Gémeaux à une distance de 2 800 a.l., de dimensions angulaires de 28' et magnitude apparente 5.30, donc visible à l’œil nu. Une petite paire de jumelles, même de 30 mm de diamètre, permettent, de voir sa forme presque circulaire, et quelque dizaines étoiles qui le constituant. Avec des jumelles de 50 mm il est possible d'observer une cinquantaine des ses composantes, et un instrument de 120-150 mm est suffisant pour résoudre complètement les 200 étoiles que le composent.
A environs 30', donc dans le même champ de M35, il est possible d'observer un autre amas ouvert, NCG 2158, beaucoup moins lumineux, magnitude apparente 8.6, et petit, 6 arcmin, caractéristiques que sont justifiées par l'énorme distance, estimée à 16 000 a.l.. Pour résoudre partiellement NCG 2158 dans ces composante, âgées de plus d'un milliard d'années, sera nécessaire un instrument supérieur à 200-250 mm de diamètre.
