Jupiter sera visible toute la nuit vu que le 10 juin il sera en opposition. Malheureusement les courtes nuits de juin ne permettrons pas l'observation complète de rotation de la planète géante du Système Solaire.
A gauche est reportée l'élongation ( en rayon de Jupiter ) des Satellites Galiléens depuis Jupiter. L'animation de droite montre le mouvement des satellites pour le mois de mars: Io ( I ), Europe ( II ), Ganymède ( III ) et Callisto ( IV ). Remarquez aussi l'évolution de l'atmosphère de Jupiter.
Saturne, en vue de la conjonction du mois prochain, sera visible pour toute la nuit pendant tout le mois de juin.
A droite est représentée la positions des satellites principaux de Saturne. Mimas ( I ), Encelade ( II ), Téthys ( III ), Dioné ( IV ), Rhéa ( V ), Titan ( VI ), à droite est représentée leur positions au 15 avril.
Vesta, dénomination officielle (4) Vesta, est un astéroïde de la ceinture principale avec un diamètre moyen de 530 Km (dimensions 560 x 544 x 454 ±24 km), le deuxième par taille et masse après Cérès, orbitant à une distance moyenne de 2.36 U.A. du Soleil. Il est caractérisé par un albédo de 0.42, similaire à celui de Neptune, supérieure à celui de la Terre et presque le triple de celui de Mars, par conséquent il est l'objet le plus billant de la ceinture principale d'astéroïde. Sa magnitude, selon la distance, la position et la surface illuminée, varie entre 5.4, pendant les oppositions les plus favorables, et 8.5, donc parfois il est visible à l'œil nu.
